Thank you Randy !!!!

I thought I was the only one.

When I was 10 and at summer camp, my Dad knew I had a crush on Ira Bergebnfeld (?) and gave him 50 cenys ( It was a long time ago) to ask me to dance at the end of the summer social.

I honestly don't think I've ever been the same.

THANK YOU RANDY !!!! Cannot wait to see you in September .

Randy newman is a wonderful songwriter. I'm 15, and of corse knew him from toy story first, but I got to listening to his other music, and really liked what I heard. It made me laugh, feel horrible, feel great, every single emotion you could have, he can bring out in song. As an aspiring musician myself, mr. newman along with a few (very few) other artists showed my that you can write outside the "norm" and break the "formula", and all the problems I had writing went away. Though it would probably never happen, I would love the chance to talk to Mr. Newman, because I have so many questions and things to say. I really like the songs I have heard off of Mr. Newman's album, and I can't wait for it to be in store. This video is of fantastic quality by the way. Well done. That's it. I have nothing left to say. "But i'm gonna say it anyway!" Sorry, bad pun.

Randy Newman is amazing im 19 and i acually started listining to him a few months ago because i saw family guy and mad tv making fun of him and i was like if this is how he sings , this guy is bad ass. so i bought an album and it was bad ass (though nothing like what they say on family guy) i think his lyrics are smart and funny .Cant wait for toy story 3 and if Randy Newman is not singing the title song there will be riots. Harps and Angles is amazing my favorite song is potholes, though i favorite song i have heard so far is "you can leave your hat on" keep it up Randy

New albums by Randy Newman are too rare! I very much enjoy this new album. Mr. Newman, I hope you might be encouraged to not wait so long for your next one. I think we all need them.

"Potholes" reminds me of when I was 15 at the Sho-Me Baseball camp in Branson, Missouri. There was a redneck coach there named Ernie who had been up for a cup of coffee with the Yankees in 1950 and had a rule if you missed a base, you had to go back and kiss it. I was definitely not going to do that, but the rest of the story is too long except for my website. I always thought of this anecdote as a short story, but after hearing "Potholes", I realize maybe it should be a song.
Randy, if you're reading this, I was thrilled to meet you tonight after your Peekskill concert, and even more thrilled that maybe you've heard of me. Hearing your songs when I was younger was part of the reason I decided to try to become a songwriter. Sorry it took so long to get the picture taken, but that's show business, isn't it?

Yeah buddy the potholes. I mjust want to say that I appreciate Randy Newman for his talent, and his piano plyaing skills, but most of all I appreciate him because everytime my hears one of his songs, she smiles.
God Bless all Our potholes

god bless you randy, one of the greatest songwriters in the world today, up there with bob dylan, richard thompson, jackson browne and paul bracy. love you, love your music!

This guy is better than anyone I have known. Lyrics force multiple listens not due to lack of audible clarity, but content that demands reflection.

Seem like he'd be fun to hang out with? Yep, I'd say so.
