Robert Plant, who will lead a sold-out US tour with his band the Sensational Space Shifters next month, has released a video of their performance of "Season's Song," from his new album, Carry Fire, at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, England, on their sold-out UK tour last November. You can watch it here.

Sam Amidon stopped by Yellow Couch Studio to perform "Pat Do This, Pat Do That," from his 2014 album, Lily-O, paired with "Blackbird" from his 2017 album, The Following Mountain, and "Another Story Told," also from the new album. You can watch the performances, for which he is joined by multi-instrumentalist Chris Vatalaro, here. "I've been a fan of Sam's music for quite a while now," says Yellow Couch's Steven Foxbury, "and those two put on one hell of a show."

Laurie Anderson and Kronos Quartet have shared two new tracks from their forthcoming album, Landfall: "The Water Rises" and "Our Street Is a Black River." Both can be downloaded now with pre-orders of the album, along with the previously released album track "We Learn to Speak Yet Another Language." Punch Brothers performed on a special holiday edition of CBS This Morning's Saturday Sessions on December 23. The band was joined by Aoife O'Donovan on the Pogues' holiday classic "Fairytale of New York," and she, Chris Thile, and Chris Eldridge performed "Douglas Fir," from Thile's new album, Thanks for Listening. Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell recently sat down with The Bluegrass Situation to perform the title track of their 2015 album, The Traveling Kind. The performance, for the site's Sitch Sessions, took place in a flower-filled 1954 Silver Streak trailer in East Nashville. You can watch it here.

Just in time for the holidays, Robert Finley debuted his music video for “Merry Christmas, I Love You” via Uproxx, which calls it “a bluesy throwback holiday song in both message and execution.” The song, produced and co-written by Dan Auerbach, is available now on Amazon Prime Music. The Staves and yMusic were on Live From Here with Chris Thile, broadcast live from The Town Hall in NYC on Saturday, performing three songs from their new album, The Way Is Read: the title track, "Trouble on My Mind," and "All My Life." The Staves also joined Thile and the show's other guests, Jeff Tweedy, Sarah Jarosz, and Punch Brothers, to perform the Pogues' Christmas classic "Fairytale of New York." Robert Finley debuted his music video for "Holy Wine," from his new album, Goin' Platinum!, via Relix. "This as close to gospel as you are going to get," Finley says. "The song tells the story of generations, especially the video, with the baby into young manhood. It’s like three generations in one video. Hopefully it fills a generational gap, that’s what the intention was, to try to bring the old and young together." Watch the video, directed by Gus Black, here.

Tigran Hamasyan has shared the music video for "Leninagone," a song from his album An Ancient Observer. He dedicates the song and video to the children who survived the devastating Armenian earthquake that hit his home town of Gyumri (Soviet name: Leninakan) on December 7, 1988, twenty-nine years ago. "I come from the generation of children whose lives were directly affected by this tragic event," says Hamasyan. "The video portrays the struggle and the hope of all the generations that lived through this apocalyptic time."
