The Carolina Chocolate Drops are in the UK all this week to celebrate the early release there of their Nonesuch debut, Genuine Negro Jig, and perform throughout the country. It's been a whirlwind of BBC appearances, including a live BBC 6 Music interview earlier today on Nemone's early afternoon show and a performance on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends last Saturday.

The Carolina Chocolate Drops are in the UK all this week to celebrate the early release there of their Nonesuch debut, Genuine Negro Jig, and perform at venues throughout the country following what the Scotland Herald called an "exhilarating" tour kick-off at Celtic Connections in Glasgow last week.

With the band now in England, it's been a whirlwind of BBC appearances, including a live BBC 6 Music interview earlier today on Nemone's early afternoon show. Listen again online at bbc.co.uk, where the band's segment begins at 1:46:47 in.

Over the weekend, Carolina Chocolate Drops performed the album track "Cornbread and Butterbeans" on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends show Saturday. You can listen to the segment at about 31:52 at bbc.co.uk.
