David Byrne has unveiled a limited-edition set of prints made by NYC artist Steve Powers, aka ESPO, available exclusively in the Nonesuch Store. This diptych, inspired by Byrne's new album, American Utopia, includes two hand-pulled screen prints made in Brooklyn at ESPO's Art World, packaged in a hand-stamped LP sleeve (LP not included). Orders will be taken for a limited time only, March 5–8, and include a digital download of the new album on release day.

David Byrne, whose new album, American Utopia, is out this Friday, has unveiled a limited-edition set of prints made by New York City artist Steve Powers, aka ESPO. Orders for these hand-made prints, available exclusively in the Nonesuch Store, will be taken for a limited time only, starting today, Monday, March 5, and running through Thursday, March 8, at 5pm ET.

This limited-edition American Utopia diptych is a two-print set, each a three-color screen print, 12"x12" on 335 gsm Coventry Rag. The set comes packaged in a hand-stamped LP sleeve—actual LP not included. Each print is a hand-pulled screen print made in Brooklyn at ESPO's Art World. Due to the nature of printing and our efforts to maintain the highest quality, prints will start to ship in early April. Orders include a digital download of David Byrne's new album, American Utopia, sent by e-mail on release day.

    Donnacha Dennehy’s Land of Winter is out now. The piece, performed by the composer's longtime collaborators Alarm Will Sound and conductor Alan Pierson, explores the subtleties of Ireland’s seasons via twelve connected sections representing the months of the year. "It is the varying quality of light that truly demarcates the seasons," Dennehy says, "from the shorter days of grey or piercing light in the winter to the warmer but mercurial light of summer days that at solstice stretch almost to midnight. I like this play between light and time, and it is the major inspiration behind the piece." You can watch a video for “July" here.
