Jessica Lea Mayfield, who heads to Europe next week for shows in Belgium, Ireland, the UK, France, Germany, and the Netherlands, has now added a number of new dates to her previously announced US spring and summer tour featuring music from her Nonesuch debut album, Tell Me. Her first set upon returning to the States will be at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, on June 10, which will be followed by shows throughout the US running through the tail-end of summer, including six shows supporting The Avett Brothers and a set at the Belleayre Music Festival in Highmount, New York, with label mates Punch Brothers. See below for all of the currently scheduled tour dates; for more information and ticket links, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.

Speaking of the sounds of summer, Esquire includes Mayfield's "Blue Skies Again," off Tell Me, on its list of "30 Summer Songs Every Man Should Listen To." "Because nothing says summer song quite like ooh-la-las, handclaps, and tambourines," explains Esquire's Andy Langer. "And because this one proves not all summer songs have to be shallow."

Mayfield appeared at the SXSW Music Conference & Festival earlier this year, performing at numerous events, including parties for fashion designer Billy Reid & American Songwriter, Rolling Stone, KCRW, KEXP, and KUT. Of her official festival showcase, SPIN magazine praised, “With her 45-minute set at St. David’s, this 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Kent, Ohio, proved she has what it takes to be your favorite new artist ... [S]he’s tweaked tender country-rock ballads into a universally irresistible medium.” As a special bonus, a 10-song live EP recorded at the festival, iTunes Live: SXSW, is now available exclusively at iTunes.

Since the release of her first album, With Blasphemy So Heartfelt in 2008, Mayfield has toured alongside numerous renowned artists, including The Avett Brothers, Ray LaMontagne, Band of Horses, Justin Townes Earle, and The Black Keys, whose Dan Auerbach produced both of her albums.

To pick up a copy of Tell Me, head to the Nonesuch Store, where orders include high-quality, 320 kbps MP3s of the complete album, plus the bonus download of a live take on the album opener, "I'll Be the One You Want Someday."

American Railroad, the new album from the Silkroad Ensemble with Rhiannon Giddens, is out now. It is the culmination of four years of research, collaboration, and music-making, having brought Silkroad artists all across the US to uncover and uplift stories of those who built the transcontinental railroad and connecting railways across North America. "The result is a tapestry of stories, traditions, and music that have shaped our multifaceted cultural identity, and that must be heard and recognized," Giddens says. Also out now are a performance video of the track "Mahk Jchi" and the first episode of the American Railroad podcast series. The US fall tour continues to November 23.
