Jessica Lea Mayfield has extended her tour into the summer with new tour dates into August, including a number of headline shows as well as a ten-day tour supporting Langhorne Slim. Following previously announced sets at the Nelsonville Music Festival this Saturday and at Appalachian Uprising on June 1, both in her home state of Ohio, the summer tour begins at the end of July with headlining shows in St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver, and Salt Lake City. The tour with Langhorne Slim kicks off at the Independent in San Francisco and the Troubador in LA and includes additional stops in California, Arizona, Texas, and Tennessee, before closing out at Headliners in Louisville, Kentucky. See below for all of the dates; for additional details and ticket links, go to nonesuch.com/on-tour. Tickets will be on sale by this weekend.

Mayfield's Nonesuch Records debut, Tell Me, was released in 2011 and received rave reviews. Produced by The Black KeysDan Auerbach, Tell Me was described by Rolling Stone, which named Mayfield an Artist to Watch, as “a disarming collision of stark country balladry, dynamic alternative rock and arty electronic pop,” while the Associated Press said, “Tell Me is the portrait of a precocious girl growing into self-assured womanhood and a producer reaching the peak of his powers. It is a dark and moody album, full of delights throughout, and if it doesn’t make Mayfield a star, that too will be heartbreaking.”

To pick up a copy of Tell Me, head to the Nonesuch Store, where CDs come with a download of the album available at checkout, including the bonus track "I'll Be the One You Want Someday (Live)."
