Jessica Lea Mayfield launches a three-week headlining US tour in Chattanooga, Tennessee, tonight. From there, the tour makes stops throughout the South, with shows in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Virginia. Following her headlining tour, Mayfield will join the Drive-By Truckers for a few shows up North. She'll also play two additional headlining dates in Brooklyn and Annapolis. She supports Ryan Adams on tour in December.

Jessica Lea Mayfield launches a three-week headlining tour of the United States at JJ's Bohemia in Chattanooga, Tennessee, tonight. From there, the tour will make stops throughout the South, with shows in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Virginia. Ri¢hie opens along the way.

Following her headlining tour, Jessica Lea Mayfield will join the Drive-By Truckers for a few shows up North. While there, she'll also play two additional headlining dates: at Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn and Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, Maryland.

Next month, Mayfield is set to support singer-songwriter Ryan Adams on his North American tour. The seven-city tour starts in Philadelphia on Friday, December 2, and runs through Tuesday, December 13, in Minneapolis, with stops in Baltimore, New York City, Boston, Toronto, and Chicago along the way.

    American Railroad, the new album from the Silkroad Ensemble with Rhiannon Giddens, is out now. It is the culmination of four years of research, collaboration, and music-making, having brought Silkroad artists all across the US to uncover and uplift stories of those who built the transcontinental railroad and connecting railways across North America. "The result is a tapestry of stories, traditions, and music that have shaped our multifaceted cultural identity, and that must be heard and recognized," Giddens says. Also out now are a performance video of the track "Mahk Jchi" and the first episode of the American Railroad podcast series. The US fall tour continues to November 23.
