k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang will perform “I Confess,” from their album Sing it Loud on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on April 11, the eve of the record's release. Appearances are also confirmed for Good Morning America and The View. lang and the band will perform Sing it Loud in its entirety at sold-out shows in LA and NYC that week and will kick off an extensive North American tour in June. On March 29, Amazon.com will kick off a countdown leading up to the album’s release, streaming a new track each day.

is available to pre-order in the Nonesuch Store with a manuscript lyric sheet of "I Confess," a number of which will be signed by lang. There's also an expanded version of the album at kdlang.com.

Sing it Loud is lang’s first studio album since 2008’s Watershed, which debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, and her first record made entirely with a band of her own since the pair of albums with the Reclines that launched her career more than 20 years ago. On March 29, Amazon.com will kick off a countdown leading up to the album’s release, streaming a new track each day in a special listening party.

lang and the Siss Boom Bang—comprising Joe Pisapia (a multi-instrumentalist who co-produced the album with lang and serves as musical director), Daniel Clarke (keyboards), Fred Eltringham (drums/percussion), Joshua Grange (baritone guitar, dobro), and Lex Price (bass)—will play the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, on May 1 and kick off an extensive North American tour in June. The run will include a June 20 headline show at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. New dates have been added in the past week and additional dates will be announced soon.
