k.d. lang is due to perform at the 2010 TV Week Logie Awards, the Australian television award. The 52nd annual awards ceremony will take place at Melbourne's Crown Casino on May 2 and will be broadcast on Australia's Nine Network.

"I'm honoured to be included in the TV Week Logie Awards because Australia feels like my second home," says lang. "I'm also looking very forward to being in Melbourne again."

lang is a frequent visitor to Australia, having performed in various cities across the country during her 2008 Watershed tour, which led the Sydney Morning Herald to describe her performance as "delightful" and The Australian to rave: "k.d. lang comes so close to perfection that it's hard not to dissolve into gushing cliches."  Both Watershed and her latest album, the recently released career retrospective Recollection, made it to the top of the Australian pop charts.

There's plenty of coverage of k.d.'s upcoming Logies appearance in the Australia press, including the Daily Telegraph, the Syndey Morning Herald, and ABC News.
