Laurie Anderson brings her latest piece, Delusion, to the Brighton Festival with a performance at the Brighton Concert Hall Thursday night, preceded by a conversation there tonight about her work, her influences, her collaborations, and her thoughts on art, language, and storytelling. Laurie Anderson brings her latest theater piece, Delusion, to the Brighton Festival with a performance at the Concert Hall in Brighton, England, Thursday night. In advance of tomorrow night's event, Anderson sits down with Amy Raphael in the Concert Hall tonight to discuss her work, her influences, her collaborations, and her thoughts on art, language, and storytelling.

Anderson spoke with BBC 6 Music about Delusion and its connection to the Brighton Festival's themes of freedom and liberty, set by its guest director, Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi. Following her Brighton Festival appearances, Anderson continues her European tour with performances of Delusion at the Kassel Theatre in Kassel, Germany, Saturday and Sunday nights, as well as a conversation about her work at the Hofgeismar Conference Center Sunday morning.
