Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway are featured in the latest installment of American Currents: State of the Music, the annual exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville showcasing country music and its place in American culture over the past year, open through January 2026. "I’m so honored to be included," Tuttle says. "I can’t thank the Country Music Hall of Fame enough for all the support they’ve shown me through the years. It’s extra special for me to share this display with Shelby, Kyle, Dom, and Bronwyn after countless miles and performances together."

Singer, songwriter, and musician Molly Tuttle and her band Golden Highway—mandolinist Dominick Leslie, banjoist Kyle Tuttle, fiddle player Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, and bassist Shelby Means—are featured in the latest installment of American Currents: State of the Music, the annual exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville showcasing country music and its place in American culture over the past year, which will be open through January 2026.

"I’m so honored to be included," Tuttle says. "This year’s display includes my Fables by Barrie dress from our Ryman Auditorium headline debut [on September 13, 2024], my GRAMMY Award for City of Gold, handwritten lyrics drafts, and our Newport Folk Festival dressing room sign, which all represent huge highlights of 2024 for me. My Golden Highway bandmates also selected special items included in the display (can you guess who the cat suit belongs to?? [spoiler: Kyle]). I can’t thank the Country Music Hall of Fame enough for all the support they’ve shown me through the years. It’s extra special for me to share this display with Shelby, Kyle, Dom, and Bronwyn after countless miles and performances together."

Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway are in Texas next week for the launch of their month-long tour as special guests of Brooks & Dunn. The tour continues with stops in Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Illinoise, Iowa, Missouri, and Kentucky. Tuttle and the band then join Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit for two shows in Colorado. For details and tickets to these shows and more, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.

Tuttle and the band's two albums, City of Gold and Crooked Tree, both won GRAMMYs for Best Bluegrass Album. City of Gold, produced by Tuttle and Jerry Douglas and recorded in Nashville, was inspired by Tuttle’s near constant touring with Golden Highway and their growth together as musicians and performers, cohering as a band. These 13 tracks—mostly written by Tuttle and Ketch Secor (Old Crow Medicine Show)—capture the electric energy of the band’s live shows by highlighting each member’s musical strengths. City of Gold also features special guest Dave Matthews on the song “Yosemite.” You can get it and hear it here.

The twenty-seven disc box set Steve Reich Collected Works, out next Friday, March 14, on Nonesuch, includes a chronology of the composer's life and work—his forty years on the label and six decades of compositions heard in the collection, from It’s Gonna Rain (1965) to his two latest works, Traveler’s Prayer (2020) and Jacob’s Ladder (2023). A new video brings that chronology to life; you can watch it here.

Rhiannon Giddens and Justin Robinson have unveiled “Marching Jaybird,” an instrumental track from their forthcoming album of North Carolina fiddle and banjo music, What Did the Blackbird Say to the Crow, due April 18. Revisiting this tune recorded by Etta Baker, one of their musical heroes and a key inspiration for making this new album, and recording it at Baker’s Morganton, NC, home "was a magical moment for Justin and me," Giddens says. "Walking into her house, which is frozen in time, looking just like it did when she was alive, very much reminded us of women in our families; sitting in her living room and recording this piece learned from her playing was pretty profound." You can watch the video here. Giddens has also announced a number of new tour dates, including the Hollywood Bowl, and shared more details about her Biscuits & Banjos festival, which takes place in Durham, NC, April 25–27.
