Punch Brothers have released a new song, "My Oh My," from their forthcoming, T Bone Burnett–produced album, The Phosphorescent Blues. The song is available as an instant download with pre-orders of the new album, which is due out January 27, with the vinyl to follow on February 24. Listen to the song, as well as the two other instant-download tracks, "I Blew It Off" and Julep," here. Punch Brothers kicks off a brief tour of Ireland and the United Kingdom next week.

Punch Brothers kicks off a brief tour of Ireland and the United Kingdom next week, including stops at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for Celtic Connections, and two show at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.     Congratulations to composer and pianist Timo Andres on receiving the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's Elise L. Stoeger Prize—a $25,000 cash prize, awarded biennially by CMS to recognize significant contributions to the field of chamber music composition. Andres says: “I feel equally challenged and freed to take risks when I write chamber music, and writing it, I’ve learned the most about becoming a better composer and musician. To be recognized in this medium by one of its greatest institutional standard-bearers is a huge and unexpected honor.”
