The paper's Kevin O'Hare, in his Playback blog, suggests that Glass's "swirling music has a way of seeping into one's dreams as much as the waking hours," and writes of the new collection: "Packaged as a cube box, and also containing a 191-page booklet, the retrospective is one of the most innovative of this year and certainly one of the most musically fascinating."
The composer has also announced the initial line-up for his annual Tibet House Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium, to be held on February 3.
