The Black Keys will support their forthcoming Nonesuch release, Brothers, due out May 18, with a summer tour beginning June 2 in Salt Lake City, including a newly added second show at Central Park’s SummerStage. Pre-sale tickets for the tour go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, March 30, through the band's site and include include a copy of Brothers upon release and an instant download of two tracks.

The Black Keys will support their highly anticipated new album, Brothers—due out May 18 on Nonesuch Records—with a summer tour beginning June 2 in Salt Lake City. The tour will include stops in Denver, Kansas City, Minneapolis, and St. Louis, as well as a newly added second show at Central Park’s SummerStage on July 28. The second SummerStage show follows the band’s July 27 performance, which quickly sold out.

Pre-sale tickets for the tour dates will go on sale Tuesday, March 30. Those who purchase pre-sale tickets through the band’s website, theblackkeys.com, will receive a special bundle, which includes a copy of Brothers (digital only or physical and digital, CD or vinyl) upon release. Additionally, pre-sale tickets will come with an instant download of two tracks from Brothers—“Tighten Up” and “Next Girl.” The Black Keys will also be playing select dates in April and May, highlighted by an opening slot for Pearl Jam at Madison Square Garden on May 20, as well as performances on the Late Show with David Letterman on May 25 and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on May 26, as previously reported in the Nonesuch Journal.

The new album includes the Danger Mouse-produced song “Tighten Up,” streaming now on the band’s MySpace page, myspace.com/theblackkeys, and a cover of the Jerry Butler classic “Never Gonna Give You Up.” The remaining songs on Brothers are written, performed, and produced by The Black Keys.

    Chris Thile and his fellow Punch Brothers have announced tapings for the second season of their musical variety show The Energy Curfew Music Hour at Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City, January 11 and 16 and February 13, 18, and 24; special guests to be announced.
