Both the lead track and the B-side, "Run Right Back," are featured on the band's forthcoming album, El Camino, which hits stores on December 6. Album pre-orders, available now in the Nonesuch Store, include a download of "Lonely Boy," which will be delivered on October 26.

Rolling Stone, which revealed the Record Store Day 12-inch cover art earlier today, spoke with the band's creative director, Michael Carney, about his design for the record sleeve. "I went to take a picture of the building that the [band's 2004] album Rubber Factory was recorded in, and this is what was there—a giant pile of bricks and a bulldozer," Carney says. "The back cover is a pile of discarded tires behind an abandoned shopping mall."

The twenty-seven disc box set Steve Reich Collected Works is due March 14, 2025, on Nonesuch. It features music recorded during the composer's forty years on the label—six decades of his compositions, including first recordings of his two latest works, Jacob’s Ladder and Traveler’s Prayer—plus two extensive booklets with new essays by Robert Hurwitz, Michael Tilson Thomas, Russell Hartenberger, Judith Sherman, and Nico Muhly, and a comprehensive listener’s guide by Timo Andres. Nonesuch made its first record with Steve Reich in 1985; he was signed exclusively to the label that year. Collected Works includes twenty-four discs of Nonesuch recordings and three from other labels.
