The Magnetic Fields will head off to Europe for a short string of shows in March following their previously announced US dates. The European tour begins in the UK and makes its way through Sweden, Norway, and Germany, before coming to a close in the Netherlands. Meanwhile, tickets for many of the US and Canada shows—including two shows at New York City's Town Hall—are still on sale.

The Magnetic Fields will head off to Europe for a short string of shows in March following their previously announced US dates. The European tour begins at the Cathedral in Manchester, England, on March 19 (tickets on sale this Friday, December 4 at 9 AM local time), followed by shows in London and Leamington for which tickets are already on sale. From London, the group heads to the Continent for shows in Sweden, Norway, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, The Magnetic Fields forthcoming Nonesuch release, Realism, is available for pre-order, and tickets for many of the US and Canada shows—including two shows at New York City's Town Hall—are still on sale.

    Chris Thile and his fellow Punch Brothers have announced tapings for the second season of their musical variety show The Energy Curfew Music Hour at Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City, January 11 and 16 and February 13, 18, and 24; special guests to be announced. (The first season is available now on all major podcast platforms). They have also announced the third annual Chris Thile Acousticamp, returning to Asilomar Hotel in Pacific Grove, CA, June 27–July 1, with fellow instructor/collaborators Julian Lage, Michael Daves, Maddie Witler, and first time faculty Josh Ritter.
