k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang have returned home to California after several weeks' celebration of their new album, Sing it Loud, with TV and radio appearances around the world. They close out this weekend's Stagecoach festival in Indio, California, with a Sunday night set. lang can be heard on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live this weekend, talking about her passion for martinis. k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang have returned home to California after several weeks' celebration of their new Nonesuch release, Sing it Loud, with television and radio appearances in Australia, the UK, the US, and, most recently, lang's home-and-native land of Canada. They are the headlining act at this weekend's Stagecoach festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, performing the festival's closing set on Sunday night. Also performing at Stagecoach this weekend are label mates Punch Brothers and Wanda Jackson. lang has recently added a number of new summer tour dates to her schedule; check out the latest information at nonesuch.com/on-tour.

This Saturday morning in the UK, just 24 hours after the Royal Wedding has swept the country and the world over, lang can be heard on BBC Radio 4's Saturday Live. She talks about her passion for martinis and learns how to make the perfect one with London’s best mixologist. Saturday Live airs at 9 AM GMT and can be heard at bbc.co.uk.

During her recent return to Canada, lang stopped by the CBC radio studios to talk with Q host Jian Ghomeshi. lang and Joe Pisapia, the co-producer of Sing it Loud and a member of the Siss Boom Bang, performed a beautiful acoustic rendition of the album track "Inglewood." You can watch a video of the performance here:

During their trip to Australia, lang and Pisapia also performed the song in an intimate concert for ABC's Art Nation in Melbourne's beautiful Ripponlea Gardens. You can watch that performance of the song here:

    Chris Thile and his fellow Punch Brothers have announced tapings for the second season of their musical variety show The Energy Curfew Music Hour at Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City, January 11 and 16 and February 13, 18, and 24; special guests to be announced. (The first season is available now on all major podcast platforms). They have also announced the third annual Chris Thile Acousticamp, returning to Asilomar Hotel in Pacific Grove, CA, June 27–July 1, with fellow instructor/collaborators Julian Lage, Michael Daves, Maddie Witler, and first time faculty Josh Ritter.
