As The Low Anthem's tour transitions from Europe back to the States next week, Lake Fever Sessions has published three performance videos the group recorded during a stop in Nashville earlier this year: "Ticket Taker," "Charlie Darwin," and "This God Damn House." The band's rich and varied influences, says Lake Fever, "create a stark, though strangely lush at times, canvas for their melodic folk tunes."

As The Low Anthem's tour transitions from Europe back to the States next week, Lake Fever Sessions has published three performance videos the group recorded during a stop in Nashville, Tennessee, on the previous leg of the US tour earlier this year. Catch performances of "Ticket Taker" and "Charlie Darwin," off the band's Nonesuch debut, Oh My God, Charlie Darwin, plus their song "This God Damn House" and a gallery of photos from the session at lakefeversessions.com.

"Their sound borrows delicate bits from classic, pre-rock American music: southern folk, Black spiritual hymns, jump blues, boogie-woogie, etc.," says Lake Fever's Joe Baine Colvert. "These bits swell up and pop in to create a stark, though strangely lush at times, canvas for their melodic folk tunes."

The Low Anthem returns to Nashville during the upcoming US tour with Blind Pilot, playing the Mercy Lounge on November 5. For more tour information, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.
