Wanda Jackson, who recently joined British songstress Adele on her tour, launches her own headlining tour that will take her to venues and festivals across the United States, Europe, and the UK through the fall. The Queen of Rockabilly's sets are sure to include songs from her Jack White-produced Third Man / Nonesuch Records debut album, The Party Ain't Over, along with favorites from throughout her decades-long career.

Wanda Jackson, who recently joined British songstress Adele on several dates of her North American tour, returns to the road to launch her own headlining tour that will take her to venues and festivals across the United States, Europe, and the UK through the fall. Jackson's sets are sure to include songs from her Jack White-produced Third Man / Nonesuch Records debut album, The Party Ain't Over, along with favorites from throughout her decades-long career.

First up for the Queen of Rockabilly is the headlining slot at the Muddy Roots festival in Cookesville, Tennessee, this Labor Day weekend, followed by US shows in Texas (including the Austin City Limits festival), California, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, and North Carolina. In late October, Jackson makes her way across the Atlantic for shows in Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, and Spain, with a final show at Scala in London in early November.

    American Railroad, the new album from the Silkroad Ensemble with Rhiannon Giddens, is out now. It is the culmination of four years of research, collaboration, and music-making, having brought Silkroad artists all across the US to uncover and uplift stories of those who built the transcontinental railroad and connecting railways across North America. "The result is a tapestry of stories, traditions, and music that have shaped our multifaceted cultural identity, and that must be heard and recognized," Giddens says. Also out now are a performance video of the track "Mahk Jchi" and the first episode of the American Railroad podcast series. The US fall tour continues to November 23.
