American Utopia is a show which toured many cities of the world, before becoming a sell-out Broadway hit,” Collier explains. “It is the creation of the incredible, ever-evolving, ever-creative David Byrne and features many of his best-loved songs performed by twelve musicians, singers, and dancers live on stage using no pre-recorded tracks. His wish was to represent hope and possibility on stage, and this he does, in the most abundant of ways.”

You can hear and get the original cast album, including songs from Byrne’s 2018 album, American Utopia, along with music from Talking Heads and Byrne’s solo career, here.

Guitarist/composer Yasmin Williams stopped by the NPR offices in Washington, DC, to perform a Tiny Desk Concert of songs from her new album, Acadia, and more. "Williams is a fingerstyle guitarist who taps, slaps and slides up and down the fretboard of her instrument with a commanding sense of scenery that flickers between the strings," says NPR's Lars Gotrich. "Storytellers build worlds; at the Tiny Desk, Williams invites us into hers." You can watch it here.
