The Arcs, whose debut album, Yours, Dreamily, is due next Friday, September 4, on Nonesuch Records, recently stopped by The Village recording studios in Los Angeles, where they performed a live take of "Stay in My Corner," off the new album. The performance premiered via Rolling Stone, which calls it a "tender new psych-soul track" and a "slow-burning rocker." This follows the recent unveiling of their performances of two other album tracks, "Outta My Mind" and "Put a Flower in Your Pocket," from the same session. You can watch all three performance below. Download the album version of all three songs when you pre-order Yours, Dreamily, on iTunes, thearcs.com, and the Nonesuch Store.

The Arcs' Dan Auerbach stopped by the BBC studios to discuss the band and the new album with John Wilson for BBC Radio 4's Front Row last night, which you can hear again at bbc.co.uk. Auerbach also spoke with BBC Radio 6 Music's Shaun Keaveny this morning, also available at bbc.co.uk.

The Arcs are Dan Auerbach, Leon Michels, Richard Swift, Homer Steinweiss, and Nick Movshon. Also featured on the album are Kenny Vaughan and Mariachi Flor de Toloache. The group collaboratively wrote and recorded 13 tracks for Yours, Dreamily, with the musicians playing a large array of roles both vocally and instrumentally. Co-produced by Auerbach and Michels, the album was recorded in roughly two weeks through spontaneous, informal sessions across the country at the Sound Factory in Los Angeles, the Diamond Mine in Queens, Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound in Nashville, and in a lounge room at Electric Lady in Manhattan. Tchad Blake mixed the album on his horse farm in Wales.
