Last summer, John Adams’s Harmonielehre was performed in a disused multi-story car park at the Peckham Rye train station in London by a group of young musicians from the UK known as TROSP, The Rite of Spring Project orchestra, led by conductor Chris Stark. (The group had performed Stravinsky's Rite of Spring in the venue the previous summer and presented a program to area schools in the spring of 2012 that included Adams's Short Ride in a Fast Machine.) A short video documenting the Harmonielehre performances was captured by Joanna Beaufoy; watch it below.

TROSP’s next performance, of a new work by Kate Whitley, who organized last summer's Harmonielehre performance, will take place at the Peckham Rye car park on July 6, 2013.
