Lianne La Havas was recently featured in a "Spotlight" profile on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly. During a recent trip to the US to celebrate the release of her debut album, Is Your Love Big Enough?, the London-based singer/songwriter stopped by LA's Greystone Manor Supperclub to talk with the show about her musical inspirations, share the stories behind some of the songs on the album, and perform in the intimate venue. London-based singer/songwriter Lianne La Havas was recently featured in a "Spotlight" profile on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly. During a recent trip to the United States to celebrate the Nonesuch release of her debut album, Is Your Love Big Enough?, La Havas stopped by the Greystone Manor Supperclub in Los Angeles to talk with Last Call about her musical inspirations, share the stories behind some songs on the album, and perform in the intimate venue. La Havas, who is currently touring the UK, returns to the US next month for three headlining shows: November 11 at the Washington, DC–area Birchmere Theatre, November 16 at Los Angeles’ Roxy Theatre, and November 17 at San Francisco’s Rickshaw Stop. For additional details and ticket links, go to nonesuch.com/on-tour. La Havas also makes her debut performance on the Late Show with David Letterman on November 8, and appears for the first time on Conan the following week, on November 14.

    The Way Out of Easy, the first album from guitarist Jeff Parker and his long-running ETA IVtet—saxophonist Josh Johnson, bassist Anna Butterss, drummer Jay Bellerose—since their 2022 debut Mondays at the Enfield Tennis Academy, which Pitchfork named one of the Best Albums of the 2020s So Far, is out now on International Anthem / Nonesuch Records. Like that album, The Way Out of Easy comprises recordings from LA venue ETA, where Parker and the ensemble held a weekly residency for seven years. During that time, the ETA IVtet evolved from a band that played mostly standards into a group known for its transcendent, long-form journeys into innovative, groove-oriented improvised music. All four tracks on The Way Out of Easy come from a single night in 2023, providing an unfiltered view of the ensemble, fully in their element.
