Lianne La Havas was a special guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, sitting in with the house band, led by Jon Batiste, throughout the show. Other guests included Anthony Bourdain, Carrie Brownstein, and ... Hillary Clinton. La Havas also performed a web-exclusive take on the song "Green & Gold," off her new album, Blood. Watch it here.

One day after the close of her North American tour in Nashville, Lianne La Havas made her way to New York City to be a special guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night, sitting in with the house band, led by Jon Batiste, throughout the show. Also on the show were Anthony Bourdain, Carrie Brownstein, and none other than Hillary Clinton. In addition to her televised performances and those during commercial breaks for the studio audience, La Havas performed a web-exclusive take on "Green & Gold," off her new album, Blood. You can watch that below.

    Legendary New Orleans musician Allen Toussaint (1938–2015) is featured on a new stamp from the US Postal Service, available January 30—the forty-eighth in its Black Heritage stamp series. Ethel Kessler, an art director for USPS, designed the stamp using a photograph by Bill Thompkins. A free first-day-of-issue event will be held at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center in New Orleans.
