"Blood is relating to my heritage and my family and it was something that I began to think more deeply about over the course of the last couple of years," she says. Lianne La Havas, who recently complete a sold-out intimate solo tour of the United States, was a guest on the Tavis Smiley show on PBS this week. She spoke with Smiley about the trip to visit her mother's family in Jamaica that inspired her latest album, Blood, and the new Blood Solo EP, and performed "Green & Gold," which can be heard on both.
