Mountain Man is set to return to the road to resume its first US tour in six years with performances throughout next month and into the summer. For a preview of what’s to come, the trio—Amelia Meath, Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, and Molly Sarlé—has shared a new video featuring a performance of Fiona Apple's "Hot Knife" from a sold-out hometown show at the Haw River Ballroom in North Carolina from late last year. Following a sold-out show as special guests of Kacey Musgraves at the start of the month, Mountain Man's headlining tour across the south and east begins March 16 in Houston and runs through March 27 at The Barns at Wolf Trap, outside Washington, DC; the trio also plays festivals, including Big Ears and Newport Folk. The tour celebrates the acclaimed band's first album in eight years, Magic Ship, which Nonesuch released last fall.
