Robert Plant, who will lead a sold-out US tour with his band the Sensational Space Shifters next month, has released a video of their performance of "Season's Song," from his new album, Carry Fire, at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, England, on their sold-out UK tour last November. You can watch it here.

Robert Plant, who will lead a sold-out tour of the United States with his band the Sensational Space Shifters next month, has released a video of their performance of "Season's Song," from his new album, Carry Fire, at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, England, on their sold-out UK tour last November. The live concert video was directed by Ryan Mackfall and produced by Crashburn Media. You can watch it below.

Carry Fire was released in October on Nonesuch/Warner Bros. Records. NPR calls it “transfixing,” adding that "Plant and his collaborators create music that overflows with irrepressible life force ... Carry Fire is rivetingly intimate." The Evening Standard exclaims in a four-star review: "Inventive and exotic, Carry Fire proves Plant’s creative spark is still burning bright."

Robert's Lullaby, Season's Song is the most Beautiful song I've ever heard. I wish I could see him in Charlotte in a couple of weeks....even though it is a 3 hour drive one way. Thank You for sharing the video.

    The original score for Ken Burns’s new two-part documentary, LEONARDO da VINCI, with new compositions by Caroline Shaw, is out now; the documentary airs on November 18 and 19 at 8pm ET on PBS. The album features performances by the composer’s longtime collaborators Attacca Quartet, Sō Percussion, and Roomful of Teeth as well as John Patitucci. Shaw wrote and recorded new music for LEONARDO da VINCI, marking the first time a Ken Burns film has featured an entirely original score. Also out today is a music video for the album track "The Mona Lisa," which can be seen here.
