The Staves have released an acoustic cover of The Beatles' "She's Leaving Home" ahead of their return to the US to tour in November. "This song is one we’ve known forever and have loved, partly because of its vivid storytelling but also the incredible string arrangement," the Staves' Jessica and Camilla Staveley say. "We realized that there are actually no harmonies on this song, only the two voices of Lennon and McCartney singing—it felt like a sign." You can watch the video here.

The Staves have released an acoustic cover of The Beatles' "She's Leaving Home." You can watch the video below and hear the song here. The track follows two previous acoustic singles, "Waiting for the Joy" and "A Weird One," released in August and September, respectively, and comes ahead of the duo's return to the US this fall with an acoustic tour celebrating their spring 2024 album, All Now, which was released on Nonesuch Records in the US. Dates begin November 6, the day after the presidential election, in Philadelphia and continue into Thanksgiving week, with stops in Brooklyn, Nashville, and Austin, among other cities. "We realized that there are actually no harmonies on this song, only the two voices of Lennon and McCartney singing—it felt like a sign."

Produced by John Congleton (Sharon Van Etten, Angel Olsen), All Now was Camilla and Jessica Staveley-Taylor’s first recording as a duo. Jessica says of the album, “There was a delayed reaction to trauma and these big changes out of our control.” The Staves—like the rest of us—were forced to sit with their thoughts, but also were still processing the death of their mother and other seismic changes: their sister Emily had stepped away from the band to focus on motherhood, while Camilla reckoned with her own mental and physical health issues.
