Yola has premiered the video for her single "Love All Night (Work All Day)" via Relix, which says: "The song showcases the warm, soulful vocals that continue to engage new audiences across the globe." The track is the third pre-release song from her forthcoming debut solo album, Walk Through Fire, which was produced by The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach and will be released on February 22 on Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound label. You can watch the video, directed by Dan Teef, below. The song is available to download now with pre-orders of Walk Through Fire on iTunes and in the Easy Eye Sound Store and the Nonesuch Store, and can be heard on Spotify and Apple Music.

"My new video for 'Love All Night (Work All Day)' was shot in a stunning pub in Peckham, South London," says Yola. "I've lived all over London (including on the streets in East London at one time), but before that I lived in a shared house in South London, and I think the area will always feel like my London home. The song celebrates a way of life. It's a life I used to live, growing up in Bristol and working multiple jobs to get by as I started out in music. I love listening to music from people who've not just been on a conveyor belt to the big time and I think it is important to hear more music from the working class again. People who, at some point, had no choice but to work all day long and maybe take a risk in pursuit of what they love."

At the start of the year, Yola was an audience favorite when she performed another album track, "Faraway Look," on the BBC’s Jools Holland’s annual Hootenanny on New Year's Eve, on which other guests included Michael Bublé, Jess Glynne, and Nile Rodgers. Here's her performance of that:

Yola makes her New York debut at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 on February 6. She will also perform in Nashville at an in-store performance at Grimey's record store on February 22 and at The Analog at the Hutton on February 23. For tickets and further information, visit nonesuch.com/on-tour.

Congratulations to composer and pianist Timo Andres on receiving the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center's Elise L. Stoeger Prize—a $25,000 cash prize, awarded biennially by CMS to recognize significant contributions to the field of chamber music composition. Andres says: “I feel equally challenged and freed to take risks when I write chamber music, and writing it, I’ve learned the most about becoming a better composer and musician. To be recognized in this medium by one of its greatest institutional standard-bearers is a huge and unexpected honor.”
