Austin City Limits announced the Yola will be the first taping of its Season 46, making her ACL debut on February 4. She'll perform songs from her album Walk Through Fire, which is up for four Grammy Awards this month. The episode will air this fall on PBS. Yola's tour heads to Boston, Brooklyn, DC, and Philadelphia this week and continues through the month, including a performance at the MusiCares Person of the Year concert Grammy weekend. She will perform at Bonnaroo in June.

Austin City Limits has announced that Yola will be the first taping of its new Season 46, making her ACL debut on February 4, 2020. She will perform songs form her Dan Auerbach–produced debut album, Walk Through Fire, which is up for four Grammy Awards later this month. The episode will be broadcast this fall on PBS as part of the upcoming Austin City Limits season. For information on how to get free passes to the show about a week before the taping, follow the show on Facebook and Twitter for notice of postings.

Yola released a deluxe digital edition of Walk Through Fire, which includes her cover of Elton John’s classic "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and a new song, "I Don't Wanna Lie." The album is available to download in the Nonesuch Store, iTunes, and Amazon, and is streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.

Yola resumes her Walk Through Fire tour in the United States at The Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts, tonight, followed by shows at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, 9:30 Club in DC, and World Cafe Live in Philadelphia this week. The tour continues throughout the month, including a performance at the MusiCares Person of the Year tribute to Aerosmith in Los Angeles over Grammy weekend.     Composer and trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire’s honey from a winter stone is out January 17, 2025, on Nonesuch Records. The album, which Ambrose calls a “self-portrait,” features improvisational vocalist Kokayi, pianist Sam Harris, Chiquitamagic on synthesizer, drummer Justin Brown, and the Mivos Quartet. Akinmusire says, “In many respects this entire work is inspired by and is an homage to the work of the composer Julius Eastman and his organic music concept."     Nonesuch releases a deluxe edition of Wilco’s 2004 Grammy Award–winning album A Ghost Is Born on February 7, 2025. The box set comprises either nine vinyl LPs and four CDs or nine CDs—including the original album, alternates, outtakes, and demos, charting the making of A Ghost Is Born—plus the complete 2004 concert recording from Boston’s Wang Center and the band’s “fundamentals” workshop sessions. It includes sixty-five previously unreleased music tracks as well as a forty-eight-page hardcover book with previously unpublished photos and a new liner note by Grammy-winning writer Bob Mehr. An alternate version of “Handshake Drugs,” recorded during the studio sessions at New York’s Sear Sound, twenty-one years ago this month, is out now. There will also be a new vinyl pressing of the original album in a two-disc package, and a two-CD expanded version of the original album with bonus track highlights from the full deluxe edition repertoire. The two-CD version will also be available on streaming services worldwide.
