The choreographer, director, and performance artist Ryan Heffington has partnered with Pitchfork to create a short film set to Fleet Foxes' song "If You Need To, Keep Time On Me," from the band's Nonesuch debut album, Crack-Up. Heffington's piece, set in the Palm Springs desert, premiered today via Pitchfork and can be seen here. Fleet Foxes perform at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago on Saturday.

Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters will return to tour the US this fall. The tour starts with a set at LouFest in St. Louis in September and continues throughout the month in Kansas City, Santa Fe, Telluride, Del Mar, Tucson, Tulsa, Louisville, Dallas, and Lubbock, culminating at Austin City Limits Live at Moody Theater on September 29. Seth Lakeman is special guest in Kansas City, Sante Fe, Tucson, and Tulsa; Lucinda Williams is special guest in Texas.

Gabriel Kahane has released a new song from his forthcoming Nonesuch debut album, Book of Travelers, called "Baltimore," and a new video here. The song is available to download now with pre-orders of Book of Travelers along with the recently released album tracks "Model Trains" and "November." Kahane has also announced several new North American tour dates.

Natalie Merchant begins her sold-out A Summer Evening With… tour of intimate, historic venues across the UK. This is her most far-reaching of the country to date and includes songs from throughout her career. "There's so much of Britain I've never seen," says Merchant. "I expect this summer's tour will satisfy my desire to explore those historic and scenic regions while meeting up with my fans who live there." She will then tour Ireland as special guest of Lúnasa.

Punch Brothers, whose new album, All Ashore, is out next Friday, July 20, kick off an extensive US summer tour at the Gaillard Center in Charleston, South Carolina. There are some forty shows to follow across the country through September, from Charlotte to Chicago, New Orleans to New York City, Buffalo to Boise to Boston to Baton Rouge. Shye Ben Tzur and the Rajasthan Express—while in New York City to perform music from their album Junun with Jonny Greenwood on tour opening for Radiohead—stopped by the WNYC studios as guests on New Sounds' Soundcheck. Ben Tzur spoke with host John Schaefer about the album and joined the band to perform songs from it. You can watch the complete set here.

Rostam is a guest on the LSQ podcast with host Jenny Eliscu. The two met more than a decade ago, when Eliscu fell in "love at first listen" for Vampire Weekend, and she wrote about the band for Rolling Stone. "Rostam and I became friends and have had numerous conversations on the record and off in the years since but never one as focused as the conversation" for the podcast, she says. Shye Ben Tzur, Jonny Greenwood, and the Rajasthan Express, who are now touring North America with music from their album Junun as special guests of Radiohead, performed the album's title track on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night. Olivia Chaney has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the making of her new album, Shelter. She took filmmaker Gavin Elder to the rustic cottage in the hills of the North Yorkshire Moors where she wrote the songs on the album to discuss writing there and later recording the album in NYC with producer Thomas Bartlett.
