The Black Keys have released the music video for their new song "Go," from their upcoming album "Let's Rock." The video is directed by Bryan Schlam and finds the band struggling to reconnect after five years apart. Pat Carney says, "It was great making this video with Bryan, partially because it was filmed at the very type of place it is making fun of," and Dan Auerbach adds, "The video was fun, but we still haven't spoken." On the song, Mehldau performs on OB-6 Polyphonic synthesizer, vocals, Steinway C grand piano, drums, Fender Rhodes, Musser Ampli-Celeste, and Morfbeats gamelan strips. A video for the song, featuring artwork by Dima Drjuchin animated by Robert Edridge-Waks, premiered on WBGO this morning. You can watch it here.

The digital release’s eleven songs were recorded by the two musicians in Bartlett’s New York studio last December and include two songs written by Patinkin himself plus songs by Paul Simon, Stephin Merritt (The Magnetic Fields), Randy Newman, Biff Rose, Teitur, and John Grant. A thirty-city Mandy Patinkin in Concert: Diaries begins in October 2019; details will be announced this summer.

The performance was streamed live via WNYC's New Sounds and can be seen again in full here. Shaw was the featured artist on the first episode in the new series of BBC Radio 3’s Unclassified, showcasing "genre-exploding new music for curious ears, hearts and minds," on Sunday. "I love it ... absolutely gorgeous music," says presenter Elizabeth Alker, who gave the radio premiere plays of two album tracks.

The tour starts in Minneapolis on April 25, with stops in Davenport, Chicago, Ann Arbor, Toronto, and Hamilton, Ontario. He returns to North America in June for a concert with Kronos Quartet and a tour as special guest of Bruce Hornsby.

You can now watch the trio—Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, Molly Sarlé, Amelia Meath—perform three songs from the set: "AGT" from their album Magic Ship; Sarlé's "Human"; and "Grasses" by Daughter of Swords, Sauser-Monnig's new solo project. NPR's Stephen Thompson, in sharing this "softly joyful set," notes Mountain Man's "resplendent blend" and the "wonderful folk-pop songs" to come from Daughter of Swords.

Yola's debut album, Walk Through Fire, is No. 1 on the UK Americana Album chart and is WFUV's New Dig. "Every so often, a musician emerges that really stops the world in its tracks.
