The Black Keys will tape a performance for Austin City Limits tonight at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, while on their Turn Blue tour. The taping will stream live in its entirety via the ACL YouTube channel, starting at 9 PM ET / 8 PM CT. The band is making its second appearance on the PBS show, the longest-running live music television series, now celebrating its 40th season. The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney made their ACL debut in Season 36 around the release of their 2010 album Brothers.

The band is currently in the midst of the latest North American leg of a world tour following the release of its latest album, Turn Blue, earlier this year. "The Black Keys whipped the crowd into a frenzy” says TIME of their performance at the Veterans Day Concert for Valor in Washington, DC, last week. The Guardian called their set "electric."

    The Way Out of Easy, the first album from guitarist Jeff Parker and his long-running ETA IVtet—saxophonist Josh Johnson, bassist Anna Butterss, drummer Jay Bellerose—since their 2022 debut Mondays at the Enfield Tennis Academy, which Pitchfork named one of the Best Albums of the 2020s So Far, is out now on International Anthem / Nonesuch Records. Like that album, The Way Out of Easy comprises recordings from LA venue ETA, where Parker and the ensemble held a weekly residency for seven years. During that time, the ETA IVtet evolved from a band that played mostly standards into a group known for its transcendent, long-form journeys into innovative, groove-oriented improvised music.
