One lucky winner and a guest will enjoy a private performance from Jessica Lea Mayfield in a private backstage studio at Bonnaroo, a meet-and-greet with Mayfield, and a signed copy of her Nonesuch debut album, Tell Me. Once at the festival, head to the Relix / Bonnaroo Beacon tent in Centeroo for your chance to win; the winner will be chosen at 2 PM on Friday.
Jessica Lea Mayfield's regular festival set kicks off Friday's performances at This Tent at 12:15 PM. TIME magazine includes her on its list of the Five Bands to See at Bonnaroo. American Songwriter includes her among the Top Ten Bands We're Excited to See at Bonnaroo. "With nearly 100 bands to chose from, we’ve narrowed down our own personal list of must-see acts," says American Songwriter's Evan Schlansky. "It’s going to be a great festival." Another lucky winner and a guest will win side-stage passes to watch The Low Anthem play at Bonnaroo, a private meet-and-greet with the band, a signed copy of their latest Nonesuch release, Smart Flesh, and a band t-shirt. Enter to win at the Relix / Bonnaroo Beacon tent in Centeroo; the winner will be chosen Saturday morning at 10 AM. The band's Bonnaroo set takes place Saturday afternoon at That Tent at 1:45 PM.
The Wall Street Journal's rock and pop music critic Jim Fusilli includes The Low Anthem among the Ten Acts You Won't Want to Miss at Bonnaroo, describing the music on their new album "thoughtful, emotional and highly musical Americana."

Wanda Jackson brings songs from her Jack White-produced Nonesuch debut album, The Party Ain't Over, and throughout her storied career as the Queen of Rockabilly to The Other Tent Friday evening at 5:45 PM. (She recently spoke with Paste magazine's Cory Albertson. You can watch the interview and a three performances live at The Loft in Atlanta at pastemagazine.com.) Just 15 minutes earlier at the What Stage, Sara Watkins, who celebrates her 30th birthday today, joins the Decemberists for the start of their set.
Rolling Stone includes Jackson's take on "You Know I'm No Good," off the new album, on its Essential Bonnaroo 2011 Playlist. "Rockabilly's original bad girl shows Amy Winehouse how bad is done," writes Rolling Stone's J. Edward Keyes. "Her voice has lost none of its bile or bite, and hearing her tear into Winehouse's anthem to misbehavior, as Jack White's guitar twitches nervously in the background, is like watching a cat burglar load up their bag of supplies."

The following night, The Black Keys hit the What Stage Saturday night at 8 PM, just before Eminem takes the stage. Rolling Stone includes the band's "Everlasting Light," off the band's latest Nonesuch release, Brothers, on its Essential Bonnaroo Playlist as well. "Sexy, slinky and sinewy," writes Keyes, "the Black Keys mine a T. Rex groove for this impossibly subtle come-on in which Dan Auerbach, in his best bedroom falsetto, begs, 'Let me be your everlasting light.' How can anyone refuse?"
On Sunday, The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach (who also produced Mayfield's album) joins the legendary Dr. John for a Superjam in That Tent at 7 PM.
Dr. John holds a special place in the history of Bonnaroo, with his 1974 album Destively Bonnaroo having popularized the New Orleans slang term that gave the festival its name. In honor of the festival's 10th anniversary, Dr. John will reunite with Allen Toussaint, the album's producer and a fellow favorite son of Louisiana, as well as the original Meters, who played on the album, for a performance of Destively Bonnaroo in That Tent late Saturday night (early Sunday morning) at 12:30 AM.
