Shawn Colvin's new Live album is due out next week. To celebrate, Nonesuch has teamed up with Martin Guitar to offer a brand-new X-Series guitar, signed by Shawn; three runners-up will win a free, signed copy of the CD. All orders of the album in the Nonesuch Store placed by July 21 (including previously placed orders) are registered to win and include, along with the album MP3s, the exclusive bonus download "Another Long One." The Detroit Free Press gives the album four stars, calling it "an intimate, career-spanning solo recording."

Shawn Colvin's new Live album, the follow-up to her 2006 Nonesuch debut, These Four Walls, is due out next week. Recorded over three-nights at San Francisco's famous jazz club Yoshi's, Live features songs from Colvin's incredible two-decade career, including These Four Walls, as well as her take on songs by Robbie Robertson, Gnarls Barkley, and Talking Heads.

The Detroit Free Press gives the album four stars, noting in particular the "striking versions of 'Shotgun Down the Avalanche' and 'Sunny Came Home,' key songs from her catalogue." Reviewer Martin Bandyke calls it "an intimate, career-spanning solo recording" that "closes enjoyably with Colvin taking on Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy' and Talking Heads' 'This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody).'"     The twenty-seven disc box set Steve Reich Collected Works is due March 14, 2025, on Nonesuch. It features music recorded during the composer's forty years on the label—six decades of his compositions, including first recordings of his two latest works, Jacob’s Ladder and Traveler’s Prayer—plus two extensive booklets with new essays by Robert Hurwitz, Michael Tilson Thomas, Russell Hartenberger, Judith Sherman, and Nico Muhly, and a comprehensive listener’s guide by Timo Andres. Nonesuch made its first record with Steve Reich in 1985; he was signed exclusively to the label that year. Collected Works includes twenty-four discs of Nonesuch recordings and three from other labels.
