The Staves embark on a 19-city North American tour beginning with a sold-out show at the Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis on Friday night, followed by shows in Madison and Milwaukee this weekend. The tour continues with stops in Chicago, Toronto, Nashville, Atlanta, St. Louis, DC, Brooklyn, and more, including a sold-out date at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City and sets at the Firefly, Winnipeg, Newport, and Eaux Claires festivals.

The English trio—Emily (vocals, keyboards), Jessica (vocals, guitar, keyboards), and Camilla (vocals, guitar, ukulele) Staveley-Taylor—recently released Sleeping In A Car, a three-song EP that follows the band's 2015 Nonesuch debut, If I Was, of which the New York Times said "the songs are illuminated from within," and Magnet praised: "The perfection just goes on and on until you start to wonder: Are they human?" Sleeping In A Car was recorded in Eau Claire, WI, at Justin Vernon's April Base studio and also at Urchin Studios in London.
To pick up a copy of the Sleeping In A Car digital EP, head to iTunes, Amazon, or the Nonesuch Store, where it is available in MP3, FLAC, and 96kHz/24bit HD digital formats. You can also hear it on Spotify and Apple Music. Physical CDs of Sleeping In A Car will be available exclusively at the Staves' shows.
