Chris Thile and Michael Daves, whose debut duo album, Sleep with One Eye Open, is due out on Nonesuch this Tuesday, May 10, have premiered on their website, thiledaves.com, the fourth and final video in a series of performance videos captured live at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City. In the video, the two perform another track from the new album, the traditional tune "Rabbit in the Log." You can watch the video at below, at thiledaves.com, and at nonesuch.com/media.

Sleep with One Eye Open is available for pre-order in the Nonesuch Store. Pre-orders include an autographed CD booklet and the chance to win a solid spruce-top Martin 000X1AE acoustic guitar. The album was recorded live to tape in at Jack White’s Third Man studio in Nashville and features 16 traditional bluegrass tunes by legends like the Monroe Brothers, the Louvin Brothers, Jimmy Martin, and Flatt & Scruggs.

Thile and Daves launch their US tour with a sold-out, three-night run at Rockwood Music Hall starting on next week's release day. "This ain’t your grandparents’ bluegrass hootenanny," says Time Out New York in a preview of the performances. "Like the blues, bluegrass is all about exorcising your demons while raising as much hell as you can in the process, just as long as it feels good," says Time Out's Bill Murphy. "Thile and Daves seem to know this instinctively; it’s in the way they burn through a quick-draw pickfest or croon even the most mournful of ballads. Their set list may be decades old, but their youthful sound is firmly rooted in the here and now." Read more at newyork.timeout.com. For more tour info, head to nonesuch.com/on-tour.
