Audra McDonald brought the music of her new album, Go Back Home, to homes across the United States when PBS broadcast "Audra McDonald In Concert: Go Back Home" for the season finale of Live From Lincoln Center this past Friday night. The show presented McDonald's May 9 performance at Avery Fisher Hall in New York City for Lincoln Center's spring gala. You can now watch the episode online at pbs.org and watch web-exclusive bonus performances of Jason Robert Brown's "Stars and the Moon" (which McDonald recorded for her Nonesuch debut album, Way Back to Paradise), Irving Berlin's "Moonshine Lullaby," and the song "My Buddy" below.

McDonald recently stopped by the studios of New York City public radio station WNYC to perform a few songs from Go Back Home on Soundcheck and talk with host John Schaefer about choosing the songs for the new album and much more. The episode—including live-in-studio performances of the album's title track and the album tunes "Baltimore"and "Make Someone Happy"—is due to air on WNYC this tomorrow, but you can now listen to it in full below.

"While the record showcases McDonald both backed by lush strings and sparer, bare-bones arrangements," says the show, "it's her distinctive voice that shines throughout."

McDonald also spoke with Forbes about the new album, her artistic influences, the role Lincoln Center has played in her life, Shakespeare, and more. Read the interview at forbes.com.
