Conor Oberst, while on tour for his Nonesuch Records debut album, Upside Down Mountain, performed at the House of Blues in Boston this past June. The WGBH program Front Row Boston was there to capture the event. You can now watch the full set, including several songs from Upside Down Mountain, Bright Eyes tunes, and more, here. Oberst tours the West Coast with M. Ward and The Felice Brothers this fall.

Conor Oberst, as part of the North American tour featuring music from his 2014 Nonesuch Records debut album, Upside Down Mountain, performed at the House of Blues in Boston this past June. The WGBH program Front Row Boston was there to capture the event. You can now watch Oberst and the band, including Nathaniel Walcott, who performs on the album, on keyboards and trumpet; Pat Oakes on drums; and Larkin Poe sisters Rebecca Lovell (mandolin, guitar, and vocals) and Megan Lovell (lap steel and vocals). The set includes several songs from Upside Down Mountain—"Time Forgot," "Hundreds of Ways," "Zigzagging Toward the Light," "Enola Gay," "Artifact #1," "Double Life," and "Governor's Ball"—as well as favorite Bright Eyes tunes and more.     The Black Keys have released a new song, “I’m With The Band,” written with and featuring Beck, from the upcoming Ohio Players (Trophy Edition). It's the third song from that expanded version of the band's latest album on which Beck sings and which he co-wrote with The Black Keys, including the original Ohio Players tracks “Paper Crown,” featuring Juicy J, and “Beautiful People (Stay High).” The Black Keys have added new tour dates at festival in Monterrey, Mexico, and Tempe, AZ, in early 2025.

    The original score for Ken Burns’s new two-part documentary, LEONARDO da VINCI, with new compositions by Caroline Shaw, is out now; the documentary airs on November 18 and 19 at 8pm ET on PBS. The album features performances by the composer’s longtime collaborators Attacca Quartet, Sō Percussion, and Roomful of Teeth as well as John Patitucci. Shaw wrote and recorded new music for LEONARDO da VINCI, marking the first time a Ken Burns film has featured an entirely original score. Also out today is a music video for the album track "The Mona Lisa," which can be seen here.
