Sam Amidon performed four songs for Seattle public radio station KEXP at last year's Pickathon festival in Oregon. Amidon performs at a live eTown taping with Bill Frisell in Boulder on Tuesday and joins Regina Carter at Royce Hall in LA on Friday. Sam Amidon, whose latest album, Lily-O, was released on Nonesuch Records in 2014, has been performing songs from the album, and his Nonesuch debut album, Bright Sunny South, on the road, making tour stops across the US and Europe. One such stop was at the Pickathon festival in Happy Valley, Oregon, last summer. While there, he performed four songs for Seattle public radio station KEXP's Pickathon Logging Road Series. Amidon performs at a live taping of the eTown radio show with guitarist Bill Frisell in Boulder, Colorado, this Tuesday, February 23, followed by a show in Berkeley on Wednesday and a concert with Regina Carter at Royce Hall in Los Angeles on Friday.
