"You Never Know," off Wilco's latest release, Wilco (the album), has made its way to No. 1 on the Triple-A radio chart, a career first for the band. Wilco first appeared on the chart with "Outtasite (Outta Mind)" off 1996's Being There. That album, along with the band's two other '90s releases, Summerteeth and A.M., are now being reissued on vinyl, for the first time, by Nonesuch.

Wilco celebrates a career first this week: "You Never Know," off the band's latest Nonesuch release, Wilco (the album), made its way to No. 1 on the Triple-A (adult album alternative) US radio chart, marking the band's first appearance in the top spot. As Billboard reports, Wilco first placed on the Triple-A list with the Top 20 song "Outtasite (Outta Mind)," off its second album, 1996's Being There, and followed up with five additional charting singles before its latest reached No. 1.

With the spotlight shining on Wilco's catalog, Nonesuch is very happy to announce the first-ever vinyl reissue of the band's first three albums: A.M., Being There, and Summerteeth. Starting with the release of the most recent of the three, 1999's Summerteeth, on August 25, the records will be released one per month, next heading back to the beginning, with 1995's A.M., out on September 29, and finishing with the double album Being There in late October.

Each of the records is being pressed on 180-gram, high-performance 12" vinyl and includes the album on CD. Nonesuch Store purchases include free, instant MP3 downloads of the album from the release date as well.

NPR's World Cafe recently took a look back at these albums and Wilco's latest, from which the band performs four tracks for the show. You can listen online at npr.org. And in the UK, the US chart-topping "You Never Know" remains on the BBC 6 Music Playlist, a selection of the station's core set of music, for the third week in a row.
