The 2018 Tanglewood season has been announced, and among the artists slated to perform at the Lenox, MA, venue this summer are Emmylou Harris and Ry Cooder on a double bill, Chris Thile with Live From Here, Jeremy Denk in a solo recital, and Audra McDonald with the Boston Pops.

Jeremy Denk was on WNYC's Leonard Lopate show. Denk, whom Lopate calls "one of America's foremost pianists," talks about his career in music and writing ahead of a solo recital at 92Y in NYC on December 9. The Celebrity Series of Boston has announced its 2017–2018 concert season, and among the artists performing through the acclaimed series at venues in and around Boston next season are four Nonesuch artists: Chris Thile, Jeremy Denk, Audra McDonald, and Joshua Redman. The Barbican Centre in London has announced its 2017–18 Classic Music concert season, in which pianist Jeremy Denk will be Artist in Residence at Milton Court Concert Hall. As such, Denk will lead four concerts throughout the season, with programs ranging from Mozart to Gershwin, from a collaboration with the Britten Sinfonia to a personal meditation on the Variation form. "Jeremy Denk isn't like other pianists," says the Barbican. "He's capable of spectacular musical gymnastics and the most eloquent insights—often in the same breath. In short ... he’s the ideal choice to be Milton Court’s Artist in Residence this season."

John Adams and Jeremy Denk will take part in a new weekend festival at the Barbican in London: Sound Unbound: The Barbican Classical Weekender, October 31 and November 1, 2015. This event will take over the Barbican Centre and surrounding venues featuring over 50 concerts across 48 hours in different locations, with performances from Jeremy Denk, a concert from the London Symphony Orchestra led by John Adams, and music by Adams, Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Beethoven, Mozart, and more. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 17.

Concerts and talks of the 68th Ojai Music Festival, of which Jeremy Denk is 2014 Music Director, will be streamed live and archived at the Festival's site, June 12–15. Ojai Live features an enhanced HD five-camera shoot and intermission interviews with artists and special guests hosted by Fred Child of Performance Today. Highlights include talks and multiple performances from Denk, including the world premiere a new opera for which he wrote the libretto, and Timo Andres.

Pianist Jeremy Denk has been named the 2014 Avery Fisher Prize recipient for his outstanding contributions to the music world and his artistic excellence. As the recipient of this honor, Denk receives a monetary award of $75,000. On a marble plaque in Avery Fisher Hall, his name will join the 21 previous Prize recipients, including Richard Goode and Kronos Quartet. Denk has also been named the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra's newest Artistic Partner, marking Denk's first appointed position with an orchestra; his tenure will begin in the 2014–15 season.

The Barbican's 2014 marathon weekend, May 17 and 18, will celebrate Nonesuch Records in the label's 50th anniversary year. Entitled Explorations: The Sound of Nonesuch Records, this curated weekend of events includes five concerts taking place in LSO St Luke's, Guildhall School's new Milton Court Concert Hall, and the Barbican Hall, with performances from Jonny Greenwood, Kronos Quartet, Brad Mehldau, Timo Andres, Sam Amidon, Natalie Merchant, Rhiannon Giddens, Olivia Chaney, and others performing works by Greenwood, Mehldau, Andres, Steve Reich, John Adams, Philip Glass, Frederic Rzewski, Henryk Górecki, Donnacha Dennehy, and more. Satellite events will include Kronos at 40 (May 13) and Jeremy Denk (May 24) with further events to be announced.
