Punch Brothers' first self-produced album, All Ashore, is out now on CD/digitally on Nonesuch, with the vinyl out September 7. "It's a meditation on committed relationships in the present day, particularly in the present political climate," says Chris Thile. The Independent's four-star review calls it "an album of rich instrumentation and understated beauty that reveals deeper nuances on each and every listen." The Boston Globe says it's "a deeply meaningful and downright gorgeous record."

Punch Brothers, whose new album, All Ashore, is out next Friday, July 20, kick off an extensive US summer tour at the Gaillard Center in Charleston, South Carolina. There are some forty shows to follow across the country through September, from Charlotte to Chicago, New Orleans to New York City, Buffalo to Boise to Boston to Baton Rouge. Punch Brothers have shared a video of their live performance of "Julep," a song from their 2015 album, The Phosphorescent Blues, at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati, Ohio, last summer. You can watch it here. The video comes about a month before the band's return to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, not long after which the big US summer tour begins (and after that, a European autumn tour).

Punch Brothers have announced a two-week tour of Europe this autumn, starting at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen on November 5. The tour includes concerts at the Barbican in London, Le Trianon in Paris, Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, and many more.

Punch Brothers, who are hard at work on a new album, have announced a US summer tour, starting at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival just after the summer solstice and winding its way throughout the country and returning to Colorado for a set at Red Rocks Amphitheatre with Gillian Welch just ahead of the vernal equinox. The tour also includes a few dates with Andrew Bird.

The band was joined by Aoife O'Donovan on the Pogues' holiday classic "Fairytale of New York," and she, Chris Thile, and Chris Eldridge performed "Douglas Fir," from Thile's new album, Thanks for Listening. Punch Brothers and I'm With Her (Sara Watkins, Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O'Donovan) join forces this summer for the American Acoustic US tour, starting at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine, Saturday, with dates at the Newport Folk Festival, Wolf Trap, NYC's Beacon Theatre, and more.
