Devendra Banhart will lead a six-city tour of duo performances with his longtime collaborator Noah Georgeson in Asia this June, starting in Seoul on June 6, with concerts in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Singapore and culminating in Bangkok on June 16. Banhart will also headline the LTDOMX festival in Silao, Mexico, on May 19.

He will personally lead the inaugural workshops scheduled for that day, titled "The Astonishing Adventures of a Celestial Archaeologist." Workshops are open to children aged four to ten on a first-come first-served basis.

The album was recorded at Powell Symphony Hall in St. Louis in 2016. The piece "mingles virtuoso show with soul," says the Boston Globe.

He traveled with the IRC to Uganda to meet some of the more than one million South Sudanese refugees welcomed there. "Meeting with refugees from all around the world has made one thing very clear to me: all they want is a better tomorrow for their loved ones, their family, their children," says Patinkin. "This is why I am so proud of my partnership with the IRC—an organization tirelessly working to support the world's most vulnerable and give them a chance to survive and thrive despite the worst of circumstances."

The tour starts with two sold-out nights at Chicago's United Center, followed by four sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City; two nights each in Montreal and Toronto; shows in Detroit, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Pittsburgh; and two nights each in Boston and Philadelphia. The Times of London called Junun "essential listening."
