    Celebrating the 25th anniversary of her Grammy-winning, critically acclaimed album Ingénue, k.d. lang has announced a nineteen-city concert tour that will bring a live performance of the platinum-selling record to venues across the US. Fans in cities such as Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Denver, Minneapolis, Boston, and NYC can experience the album live, performed in its entirety. The tour follows the release of a re-mastered, two-disc Anniversary Edition of Ingénue on Nonesuch earlier this year.

    Rhiannon Giddens begins a tour of the UK and Ireland with music from her new album, Freedom Highway, at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London tonight. The tour continues with concerts in Bristol, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Pocklington, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow, and Gateshead. She joins Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne in France in December.

    Robert Plant and his band the Sensational Space Shifters begin a month-long, sold-out tour of the UK, with music from his new album, Carry Fire, at Plymouth Pavilions tonight, followed by shows across England, Scotland, and Wales, including London’s Royal Albert Hall.     Mandolinist/singer Chris Thile and pianist Brad Mehldau begin a nine-city European tour, performing songs from their 2017 debut duo album, Chris Thile & Brad Mehldau, at Teatro dal Verme in Milan, Italy, tonight. The duo stays in Italy for a performance at Teatro Zancanaro in Sacile on Thursday, before heading to Amsterdam, London, Paris, Munich, Leverkusen (Germany), and Zürich. The tour concludes with a concert at Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna.

    Fleet Foxes have released a new behind-the-scenes (and from-the-stage) video of their recent US tour of songs from their new album, Crack-Up. You can take a look at life on the road in the video, directed by Sean Pecknold, here. The band begins a European tour at Iceland Airwaves this Saturday, followed by shows in Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, UK, Sweden, and Norway. These performances will be the band's first European headline shows in six years.

    Portuguese singer Mariza has returned to the US to give a number of intimate concerts, going back to her roots to perform special acoustic sets of stripped-down traditional Fado as it would be heard in a small club in Lisbon. The tour includes a four-night, eight-show residency at SFJAZZ Center's Joe Henderson Lab, and concerts in Brooklyn, DC, New Jersey, Chicago, Boston, and New York. Songlines has named her Artist of the Year and called her album Mundo "an unalloyed triumph."
