    Sam Amidon performed four songs for Seattle public radio station KEXP at last year's Pickathon festival in Oregon. In addition to the previously released "Down the Line," you can watch the complete four-song set with that song and "Your Lone Journey," both from his latest album, Lily-O, as well as two earlier songs here. Amidon performs at a live eTown taping with Bill Frisell in Boulder on Tuesday and joins Regina Carter at Royce Hall in LA on Friday. He continues to tour the country in the coming months with Glenn Kotche, Punch Brothers, and more.

    Lianne La Havas spoke with PBS NewsHour about her Jamaican and Greek roots and the visit to her mother's family in Jamaica that inspired her album Blood . "It was really moving, emotional for lots of reasons, just because my family are from there, but I had never seen it before," she tells NewsHour. "And it was nice to go there and feel connected to a place. That was a feeling I never felt before." You can watch the piece, which also includes live performance clips, here.

    Rokia Traoré performed two songs from her new album, Né So, on the French TV show Le Grand Journal last night: "Ilé" and "Obiké." You can watch here. She was also a guest on the French show Le Grand 8 on Monday, performing "Mayé" from the new album. Traoré tours several cities across France starting in Paris on Thursday, February 25, followed by stops in Amsterdam, Brussels, and Geneva. She heads to the US in late March for shows in NYC, DC, and Savannah.

    The Staves return to the US and to Eau Claire, WI, the town where they recorded their album If I Was, to perform at the second-annual Eaux Claires Festival. The festival, helmed by Justin Vernon, who produced the album, takes place August 12 and 13; tickets are on sale now. To celebrate the announcement, The Staves have unveiled a video for the album track "Horizons" set at last year's festival. Watch it here. "It was a truly humbling experience to be a part of something so pure, so human, so musical, and ultimately so inspiring," says the trio of the festival. "Bring on August!"

    Lianne La Havas was the musical guest on the Conan show last night on TBS, performing "Unstoppable," from her album Blood and her new EP, Blood Solo, out tomorrow. You can watch the performance here, plus a web-exclusive performance of "Grow." La Havas will be a presenter at the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony, where Blood is nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album, on Monday. Tickets for her tour supporting Leon Bridges this fall go on sale Friday.

    Steve Reich and Stephen Sondheim, as part of Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, took part in an evening of conversation, moderated by WNYC's John Schaefer, on January 31, 2015. This special occasion marked the first the time the two appeared together on stage. The evening, which also included performances of several of their seminal works by Paul Gemignani, George Lee Andrews, Kate Baldwin, Michael Cerveris, Ensemble Signal, Alexander Gemignani, and Derek Johnson, was filmed by Lincoln Center.     Lake Street Dive was the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night. The group, which will make its Nonesuch debut with the release of its new album, Side Pony, on February 19, performed "Call Off Your Dogs" from the forthcoming album. You can watch it here. The album track "Call Off Your Dogs" is available to download now with pre-orders of Side Pony.The band will tour North America in February and March and head to Europe and the UK to tour in April.

    Rhiannon Giddens performed a special set as part of BBC Radio 2's live coverage from Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival: "Last Kind Words" from her album Tomorrow Is My Turn; "Mouth Music," from her new EP, Factory Girl, and the new song called "Come Love Come." Watch the set here. She plays her own Celtic Connections show tonight, then joins Transatlantic Sessions for two nights at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall and a five-concert tour of the UK. Giddens performs on BBC One TV's Andrew Marr Show this Sunday morning.

    The Arcs have announced the next leg of their North American tour, starting in Vancouver on April 11, with shows in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Pomona, Denver, Lawrence, St. Louis, Austin, New Orleans, and two sets at Coachella. The Arcs' NPR Tiny Desk Concert—the show's 500th!—featuring three songs from their debut album, Yours, Dreamily, is now available. The band is "a bundle of talent," says host Boilen. Watch it here.
