In celebration of Pride Month, Nonesuch Records releases k.d. lang’s makeover, a new collection of classic dance remixes of some of her best-loved songs, today, including on translucent turquoise vinyl. The album brings these remixes, made between 1992 and 2000, together for the first time, and includes “Sexuality,” “Miss Chatelaine,” “Theme from The Valley of the Dolls,” “Summerfling,” and the #1 dance chart hits “Lifted By Love” and “If I Were You.” makeover’s cover art features a previously unseen 1995 portrait of lang by David LaChapelle. Also today, lang has released a video for "Sexuality (Tony Maserati Final Radio Remix)," edited by Robert Edridge-Waks from Marcus Nispel's original "Sexuality" video; you can watch it here.

k.d. lang is on CKUA's Hidden Track podcast to discuss her new album of classic dance remixes, makeover. "The album explores a stunning collection of dance remixes dating from 1992 to 2000," says host Grant Stovel. "It's a collection that invites us to re-assess k.d.’s one-of-a-kind journey and body of work all over again—but this time, on the dance floor!" k.d. lang has released “If I Were You (Main Mix),” a track from her forthcoming album, makeover, and a video for it, which can be seen below. The 1995 remix was produced by Junior Vasquez, and the remix video was edited by Dean Kensler from Kevin Kerslake’s original “If I Were You” music video.

k.d. lang is on The Rex Chapman Show with Josh Hopkins for an extensive conversation about her love of basketball, and the Portland Trail Blazers in particular, as well as her career in music. "Singing is an extension of your soul," lang says. "It was about opening up my true self. k.d. lang's 2008 Nonesuch album, Watershed, declared "a masterpiece" by the Times, is now available on vinyl for the first time (December 4 outside the US). As the title suggests, Watershed represented a milestone in lang’s career. For the first time, she assumed the role of producer, as well as writer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. “Watershed is like a culmination of everything I’ve done," lang said; "there’s a little bit of jazz, a little country, a little of the Ingénue sound, a little Brazilian touch ... I didn’t feel the need to be genre-specific because this experience felt so wide open."

k.d. lang gave her inimitable rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" to a sold-out crowd at ANZ Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday for the Fire Fight Australia concert to benefit Australian bushfire relief, hosted by Celeste Barber. The audience, in the words of 7News Australia, “was brought to a standstill by a haunting performance" from lang. You can watch it here and see why.

k.d. lang will perform in the Fire Fight Australia concert at ANZ Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday, February 16, to benefit Australian bushfire relief. She will perform two songs, including Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." Also performing in the nine-plus-hour event hosted by Celeste Barber are Queen + Adam Lambert, Alice Cooper, and a score of Australian musicians, including Olivia Newton-John, with more to be announced.

k.d. lang concluded her tour of the UK and Ireland, part of her ongoing world tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of her acclaimed album Ingénue, appearing on BBC Radio 4's Front Row and earning critical acclaim across the tour.
