k.d. lang launches a thirteen-show tour of the UK and Ireland as part of her ongoing world tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of her acclaimed album Ingénue. Following sold-out runs in North America and Australia, the latest leg of the Ingénue Redux Tour begins in Hull, ends in Dublin, and includes London's Eventim Apollo. k.d. lang's previously unreleased song "Sleeping Alone" is now available as a digital single on Nonesuch Records, to mark the premiere of k.d. lang – Landmarks Live in Concert: A Great Performances Special on PBS tonight. She wrote the song with Joe Pisapia and performed it live in concert at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas, for the Landmarks Live special. Watch the song performance here.

Congratulations to k.d. lang, who has been awarded the Alberta Order of Excellence, the highest honor the Province of Alberta can bestow on a citizen. The Canadian singer-songwriter, who was born in Edmonton and spent her childhood in Consort, Alberta, was given the medal in a ceremony at Government House in Edmonton. In 1996, lang received Canada's highest civilian honor, the Order of Canada.

k.d. lang begins the Southern US leg of her Ingénue Redux Tour on Friday, performing her 1992 platinum-selling record, Ingénue, plus songs from her 2004 album, Hymns of the 49th Parallel, in cities across Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas. The Americana Music Association will present her with its 2018 Americana Trailblazer Award as part of the Americana Honors & Awards at the Ryman in Nashville next Wednesday, September 12. She will perform a headline show at the historic venue as part of her tour the following Sunday.

k.d. lang has been named the recipient of the Americana Music Association's 2018 Americana Trailblazer Award. The honor will be presented at the Americana Honors & Awards, at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on September 12. She will also headline the Ryman on September 16 on the just-announced nine-city fall leg of her "Ingénue Redux" Tour, which includes shows in Florida, Alabama, and Texas.

k.d. lang's Ingénue: 25th Anniversary Edition is now available on vinyl, following its recent release on CD and digitally. The new two-LP set, celebrating the double platinum-selling, Grammy-winning album's silver anniversary, includes remastered versions of the album's original ten tracks, including its huge hit, "Constant Craving," along with eight previously unreleased performances from lang's 1993 MTV Unplugged episode, recorded in NYC's famed Ed Sullivan Theater. Additionally, lang marks the anniversary with the Ingénue Redux Tour, currently making its way across her home country of Canada.
