"I don’t know too many female names in the rock and roll world that come before her," Jack White said of Jackson in a recent American Songwriter article on the project. "She put in that energy to take it someplace totally new," White says of Jackson's approach to the album and its eclectic repertoire. "It’s a testament to how much someone can fall in love with music.”

The first single off the album, Jackson's take on Bob Dylan's "Thunder of the Mountain," with "Dust on the Bible" on the B side, is available as a vinyl 7" from Third Man Records. You can hear the track on Nonesuch Radio.

Nonesuch made its first record with Steve Reich in 1985; he was signed exclusively to the label that year. Collected Works includes twenty-four discs of Nonesuch recordings and three from other labels.
