    Austin City Limits (ACL) heads to Nashville for a special broadcast featuring performance highlights from this year’s Americana Honors & Awards. ACL Presents: Americana Music Festival 2014 premieres this Saturday, November 22, on PBS and includes performances from Robert Plant (with Patty Griffin) and Ry Cooder (with Flaco Jimenez and as part of the evening's house band), among many others. The show was recorded live at the Americana Music Association's 13th Annual Honors & Awards ceremony at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium in September.

    Rhiannon Giddens, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and founding member of Carolina Chocolate Drops, makes her solo recording debut with Tomorrow Is My Turn, due February 10 on Nonesuch Records (vinyl due March 3). The album, produced by T Bone Burnett, features a broad range of songs from genres as diverse as gospel, jazz, blues, and country, including works made famous by Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Odetta, and Nina Simone. Nonesuch Store pre-orders on CD and vinyl include an instant download of the album tracks "Don't Let It Trouble Your Mind" and "Shake Sugaree" (both of which you can hear here) and an exclusive print autographed by Giddens.

    Punch Brothers announce a late winter/spring tour of North America in anticipation of their upcoming T Bone Burnett–produced album due early 2015, with stops in DC, Nashville, Chicago, New York, Boston, and Vancouver, as well as three dates each in California and Texas. The 23-city tour kicks off February 20 and continues through mid-April. A limited ticket pre-sale begins on Tuesday, November 18; general on-sale starts Friday. The concert ticket prices include a digital download of the new album. Hear the album track “I Blew It Off” here.     The Black Keys will tape a performance for Austin City Limits tonight at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, while on their Turn Blue tour. The taping will stream live in its entirety via the ACL YouTube channel, starting at 9 PM ET / 8 PM CT. The band is making its second appearance on the PBS show, the longest-running live music television series, now celebrating its 40th season. The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney made their ACL debut in Season 36 around the release of their 2010 album Brothers.

    The childhood guitar of The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach, autographed by Auerbach and bandmate Patrick Carney, is being given away in a raffle to support The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, a non-profit organization with a mission to feed people and fight hunger. The guitar is the instrument on which Auerbach first learned to play; it was a gift from his father. The winner will also receive an autographed copy of Guitar World magazine. For every $10 raffle ticket purchased, the Foodbank will be able to provide 40 meals for those in need.

    Today is the 20th anniversary of Wilco's first-ever concert, and to mark the occasion, Nonesuch Records releases two new Wilco collections: Alpha Mike Foxtrot, a four-disc box set of rare studio and live recordings collected from the band’s extensive audio archives, and What’s Your 20?, a two-CD compilation of essential tracks culled from the band’s previously released studio recordings. Hear the Alpha Mike Foxtrot track "Blasting Fonda" here. Wilco will play six sold-out shows at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre in December, including one with special guest Sam Amidon.

He "is one of the most versatile performers we've ever met," says Simon. "I'm a lyrically driven person," he tells Simon. "That's why I love Sondheim. That's why I love Shakespeare.     Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, who are currently in the midst of a sold-out tour of UK and Ireland, will perform at the 2015 Lollapalooza Chile (March 14 & 15), Argentina (March 21 & 22), and Brazil (March 28 & 29) alongside fellow headliners Jack White, Calvin Harris, The Smashing Pumpkins, Foster the People, and more. The Telegraph gives four stars to Robert Plant and the band's sold-out show at the Roundhouse in London last week, saying Plant had "gathered together a brilliant musical gang to make old and new songs shine."

    Conor Oberst was the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC last night. He and the band performed "Zigzagging Toward the Light," off his new album, Upside Down Mountain, his Nonesuch Records debut, released earlier this year. You can watch the performance here. Oberst performs holiday-season benefit shows in New York and California in December and releases an exclusive 7" vinyl single for Record Store Black Friday on November 28.

    The Black Keys perform at The Concert for Valor to honor America’s veterans and their families on Veterans Day, tonight starting at 7 PM ET. The concert will take place on the National Mall in Washington, DC. It will stream live online at theconcertforvalor.com; be broadcast live on HBO, which will offer its affiliates the opportunity to open the signal, allowing nonsubscribers to view the special; and be simulcast via iHeartRadio.
